Lance A. Jones

Lance Jones is a twenty-year veteran of the high tech industry, having spent more than a decade as the General Counsel for one of the most prominent privately held software businesses in the world. The success of Lance’s non-traditional, “unbundled” methodology for successfully managing legal matters across a global delivery network, from the most routine to the most complex, has been the subject of many CLE events and articles, including “Global Tech” by Richard Acello, The National Law Journal, September 30, 2009.

Companies ranging from one-person startups to the Fortune 500 successfully outsource their intellectual property matters, contracts, and licensing functions to Lance and his global team. Lance earned both his Bachelors in Finance and his J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
